My kitchen...

The kitchen is being fixed already. My wire baskets will be installed today. And then they would put the enclosures. The contractor is rushing everything since we want to move by next week. The furnitures will be delivered by friday already. And the appliances like the airconditioning systems will be installed by saturday. We are almost on the home run!

Leaning to short hair!

I wonder if the above hairstyle of katie holmes would fit me. I have been wanting to have a haircut, and yes the husband wants it this short! Oh, and I also wish I'm as skinny as her. Look at the collar bones!  How can celebrities get the kind of figure they have? I'm envious! What could be the diet pills they are taking? Might consider it as well out of desperation.  But I should be proud that I have lost about 5lbs already without doing anything.  Stress is the culprit!  There's good to that anyway!  

Malling today...

I'm going to the mall later with the kids. Aside from getting a nice gifts for the little girls, would also check out nice sexy lingerie for a friend who will have her bridal shower next weekend. Hmm, makes me think to get one for myself as well, since we are nearing the moving to the new house. It could be nice treat for me or the husband! Bwahaha!   Let's see.  Anyway, I'm close to completing the basic items for the house.  Tomorrow will be a date with the interior designer to also get the other fixtures like the perfect lamp for the living room and master's bedroom, and other perfect decors around the house as well.  It's one expensive week for me for sure!

Sorry for the mess, but this would be the walk-in closet. I still feel all my stuff won't fit here so we would rather utilize as well the guestroom's closet. Since the contractor is finishing the inside of the house by end of the month, we are already planning the landscaping of the lawn area. We are also planning to eventually build a storage room at the end of the other lot and put as well a comfort room there. I want to get the farmhouse sinks which are all stone vessels I saw online perfect for that small room.  I am getting excited as the interior designer and I would check out pieces to put as decors for the house.  I am also looking for nice paintings to hang on our walls!

New Business...

I have been really busy as well with the new company I have put up. You see, I am working on corporate events now and it occupies my time lately by finishing company profiles and sending quotations back and forth. Well, really need to work hard in this time of recession so better to save hard, and the potential of us venturing in this business has a high probable profit. There has been talks whether I will put up an office in a nice bldg located in business centers but I don't think it would be appropriate still at this time. Maybe, I need to stablize first the company so i would settle in a home-office set-up. It would be a tremendous expense again to put up an office since we also need to get a business insurance for it. For the meantime, I am just enjoying what I do now.

Bad economy really...

Had a chance to meet my cousin from the US who recently came home for a vacation here. Apparently she mentioned about the low turn out of selling commercial real estate back to their city. She works as an environment planner and she was telling me about how bad the economy has been there.  Good thing that even though that's the current scenario, she and her husband are still very much secured with their jobs.  It is just so scary nowadays to lose your job since a lot are already unemployed.  But glad they are able to come home even just for a quick getaway. Will be busy as well showing them around. 

Where to buy?

a compact flash memory? I need to ge one since the pictures from our dslr camera are taking up much space in my laptop. I would rather save everything in a flash memory so I can just easily share the pictures with the husband as well. Aside from that I am thinking to get an external hard drive too.  There are just so many pictures to organize.  I wanted to create albums of the kids and all our travels so we can have nice coffee table books to put in the living room centertable.  I hope I can find time to really do it, otherwise, I will just hire someone!  lol!

Had a meeting yesterday in one of the malls and there I saw again my fave dream watch: Philip Stein Watch. I hope I could get one within the year. Ok, I am hoping someone would give it to me as a gift within the year! lol. Can the husband read this? Otherwise can I just opt for replica watches? But no thanks. I would rather wait. You see, I can already buy it now but I am reserving not to since it would be sweeter to get it as a gift. It will be awesome! I can still wait anyway.  For the meantime, I am just giddy-happy with my two new babies!  (wink, wink!)

We finally decided on what to get for the aircon units. We also selected the LCD TV to buy. I am going to search for nice office table for my home office room this week. The only thing left hanging is looking for audio racks for our ipod docks.  Gee, I need to learn how to time manage clearly since I need to do a lot of packing of our stuff plus I also have tons of work.  We are moving 1st week of April, hopefully.  I hope the furnitures would be done on time.  We are practically just counting the days!  Whoa!

Lost job?

I have a friend who recently lost his job. I am so sad about the news. The friend has been working so hard and I know how much he need to earn now for the family. We are helping him around to get connections. I told the husband about it and ask with his friends if he can land a position on some companies. I know my friend is very hardworking. With the current recession in the market today, I am pretty sure he is not the only on this position. Yesterday, when we were chatting with one of our friends who works in software development company said that we can recommend to our friend to do sales job search. There are actually jobs online related to sales that my friend can try to apply. I immediately phoned him about it. I hope he lands a job soon.  I am praying for it.

Curtains or Blinds?

I need to decide within this weekend if we are putting up curtains or blinds for the new house. Apparently, I wanted curtains for the high ceiling windows and roman blinds for the room. I have to consult with the interior designer if this would be feasible. I wonder though as to where I could get Discount Blinds. We have a number of windows so I really wanted to get the best deals. I was suprised to receive the quotations from curtain makers. I didn't imagine costs to be like that.  I wonder if we can get something more economical online.  Let me start researching now...

Planning for a Travel...

Planning for a travel gives me a certain high.  When I am stressed, I just want to search and look at possible vacation place we can go as a family. Lately, I have been checking Orlando vacations since Florida is one of the places which is included in the sign-up vouchers we got from our Timesharing Membership.  I need to research better and show to the husband so I can justify the cost of this trip.  I need to possibly show him a great itinerary for us to enjoy as a whole family.  But Florida is such a good place and its one of my dreams to go there actually.  

Counting the weeks!

Barely a month to go, we would be moving to the new house. I'm getting excited with the thought of it. But at the same time getting busy with all the packing of old stuff and buying new stuff as well. Aside from that, the husband is asking me to check out insurance quotes since we wanted to insure the dreamhouse.  I have asked few agents to send me their rates already since we need to decide on it as well.  We just can't wait to be home to our simple abode.  Its now a place we call our own!  Fruits of our labor and hardwork.  We are just one happy family for this dreamhouse.
