on November, I am not sure if I should bring my Macbook. We would be gone for a week so I wonder if I could restrain from no internet at all. But the purpose of the trip is for leisure so I shouldn't really be bothered by any concerns from clients. But I am thinking to bring since I am pretty sure that we need to dowload our pictures right away. I hope there is something in Guam like in Mac Hawaii where you can practically rent workstations at a very minimal fee and without even a guarantee on your credit card. At least if there would be, I would just need to bring our external hard drive for that matter. Let me research if there's a service like that as well in Guam.

Need a break...
My mind is not functioning well already since this morning due to lack of sleep for days now. Told the husband he has to bring me out for dinner tonight so I could breathe fresher air! lol! Good thing he complied and would be leaving his office early to meet me later. So now, I'm off for one meeting and then go to the mall to get a friend some sexy adult costumes as it is her request for her upcoming bridal shower this weekend. I need a break so hitting the mall could also bring me back to the groove.

I swear by this product...
If you are like me who has been almost sleep deprived every night and you wake up each morning like you have been punched on the eye, this product would work best for you. Yes, I swear by this product! No, this is not a paid ad! ;) lol! But I have been using this for two weeks now and I have seen a noticeable change. The dark circles around my eyes have lighten so far. A friend who also tried it herself recommended me to use it. I have heard and read as well a number of good reviews from fashion blogs on how effective this product could be. At first, you would feel a stingy sensation so please do not overdo the use of the roll-on around your eyes. Take it easy! The product aims to hydrate, cool and refresh tired-looking eyes. It is enriched with caffeine (yes coffee for your eyes to perk you up!) and some pro-vitamin B5 to achieve that bright-eyed look! And price is also easy on the pocket unlike those unbelievable expensive brands that promise to make you younger! This is no pretentions!

Miss Universive Pageant 2009...
was a show that I missed to watch this morning! Big time boo-boo by our existing cable company! We didn't have any cable network since last night so it was so dissapointing. It was just restored this afternoon. Argh! Now, I am thinking to probably look into the option of checkingSatellite TV Providers. I have read a number of reviews that says that using satellite TV is more reliable. Then you get to have a DVR Equipment that has a better controlling and customization features. Also, it provides a future home entertainment services. Could really be a great deal huh! I should tell the husband about this so I won't be missing watching shows like the Miss Universe Pageant, which I have been looking forward to since I was a little girl!

Missing Vegas!
My in-laws just came from Las Vegas last week and I envy them big time! Yes, I want to go to vegas now! I heart all the buffets in most of the hotels. I remember we did hotel hopping last time we were there. Next year, we would surely include Las Vegas again in our itinerary. Wondering what's the best hotel to stay to this time. We stayed in Ceasar's Palace the last time and Treasure Island. I saw from a friend that they stayed in Palazzo hotel and I so love their suite. I might recommend it to my in-laws since they are helping us prepare for our itinerary. Anyway, aside from the buffets, I also look forward to watching some shoes. And this time around, we cannot miss something we haven't seen since the last time we were there so I would probably ask my sister-in-law to get us Tickets to O Cirque Du Soleil in Las Vegas early on. I'm sure it's a great show so I really wanted to get a enjoy it. Can't wait. Can't wait to be in Vegas again.

Manic Monday #179
I am joining for the first time the Manic Monday meme.
What is the first thing you notice about people?
What song always makes you happy when you hear it?
I have LSS (last song syndrome) right now with the song "Everything" by Michael Bubble.
What fashion trend do you just not get?
I don't like dirty rockstar! Like those heavy metal stuff!

To sell or not to sell?
Last weekend was spent on thinking whether to sell or not to sell our existing Honda CRV. The husband has decided, yes decided to buy a new vehicle. As a compromise, he is offering to buy me a new car as well, but we have to sell the said vehicle. Now, I am torn whether to give in to his option. Just in case someone would be interested, here's the specifications: 2004 White Honda CRV with the bumpers having the same body color. 65K Km, 4x2 Automatic Transmission, 2.0 DOHC, Standard Pioneer Audio Player with AM,FM and in Dash CD but upgraded speakers. Security Alarm System. Power Windows and Door Locks. Leather seats, with 7 seat capacity and with rain guards that could allow you to travel in all weather conditions. I am still thinking about this option. For the price, just PM me.

For the elders...
Have you heard about the walk in tubs? Its quite interesting huh! This walk in tub is a good option especially for the elders since it can provide independence and safety in home. Normally, it gives the pleasure of taking a bath again independently since it fits all shower stall and other previous bath tub. It was actually manufactured so you can take a bath without any assitance. It comes with an opening door and just about 5-inch step making for an elder to enter the tub easily. Also, you wouldn't be worried since it comes with a contoured seat which you can enjoy while bathing. Look how it looks like...

Our kitchen...

This is our kitchen on a regular day. I guess it still looks tidy right? I have managed to complete most of our Cooking and Dining Tools even before we have moved to the dreamhouse. In fact, I actually bought some online and ordered from Shopwiki where everything you need is available. From entertaining guests like the use of wine glasses, to daily needs in using oven toasters, I got great ideas from the site. Although we have used our existing steamers, I am thinking to buy a new set since I have been doing a lot of chinese cooking lately and use of steamer is usually applicable to my menus.
The theme of our kitchen is in black and white and stainless steel. So if you notice that even our Coffee Maker and Blender are also in accordance to our color theme. I have specifically chose all items for the kitchen since I am the one who would mostly use all of these. Even our utensils are all color coordinated. Oh that blue thing is actually just a plastic strainer since I just came from the market when this picture was taken. We are draining some grapes then.

What to buy?
I am making a list already on what to check in HongKong for our upcoming trip on September. Well, aside from definitely checking some electronics stuff, I also have a long list. I am going ga-ga over the discounts given at Buy.com, though I am controlling myself not to buy yet since we are going on a trip. So my list include buying Disneyland items for the kids, checking out Tung Chung outlets for some nice running shoes. Lookout for camcorders and Ipod Touch along Causeway Bay. And spend about a whole day in Harbour City to visit Lane Crawford, YSL, Chanel and LV. Though I doubt if I could buy something since I'll be with the husband who would literally pull me out from stores. But let's see who we can squeeze in something. :P

In preparation...
for the trick or treat event in the kids' school. I am already in the lookout for possible customes for them. Yes, this early. I am thinking to order something from online since I realized that when you buy costumes of the shelves from the mall, your kid would likely to be wearing what almost all kids have. I am contemplating if an equestrian apparel would be nice for my daughter to wear. It would definitely be something different, don't you think so? I would like to get complete with show clothes, riding boots, riding breeches, riding helmets and even horse blankets and saddles. Would probably bring a miniature horse as her props. It should be cute! Now, I am just worried about the price tag!

A relaxing treat...
I did some general cleaning yesterday. There are still a number of moving boxes, mostly the small ones that we haven't shelved so I took advantage of the weekend to fix everything and place the stuff on our cupboards and cabinets. We have sorted our items and have boxed them in different sizes to ensure that we know how to organize them after.

Time to buy!
I saw from an online friend that she is thinking to sell their digital camcorders. Thinking to get one for ourselves actually. I asked her but she doesn't have any idea as to how to price it. Told her to check and compare their unit to those available online. Since we are going to HongKong, we might look from there as well. Since the kids are having a number of activities already in school, it would all be good to capture those memories. We used to just capture everything from our digital camera, which apparently, I also cannot find as to where are the transfer cables/usb cables was placed. I wonder also if we can buy something like that.

Still in the hospital...
nothing serious though but the husband is for executive check-up and requires him to check in for a night. Good thing this is covered by his health insurance from his company. That is actually very important. As they said, prevention is better than cure. It really matters that the company we work with do provide a health insurance benefit. In fact, they even have disability insurance included in their package. This is something which other companies don't offer. I believe they got it from Allsup since its a known financial and healthcare service provider since 1984 especially to people with disability. So their company has reasons to entrust this service to them. For the meantime, I am enjoying camping in here with him.

For the bridal fair...
It has been years now since I last joined a bridal fair. On my early years in business, I would join atleast 2 major bridal fairs in the country. It was part of my marketing strategies and expenses as well. But as you become known to the wedding industry, (yes, boosting myself now), I have some how reluctant to join again. Although, the last time I went to one, I got interested as to how some trade show booths are beautifully presented now. That actually made me more thinking that should I decide to join again, I should have one made by Camelback Displays.
My husband's company mostly get banner stands from them. They have been manufacturing the best panel systems that can hold slat walls and can just even use Velcro on graphics. They are known also to be create impressive large graphics. I think I should have one made soon even if I would not join any fair soon. They offer valuable prices as well with regards to printing and inclusion of the stands already.
What amazes me is their customized table skirts. Great marketing material. And I love the contour fitted one. You actually do not need any placecard signage anymore since your company name could already be right infront of the fabric by using silk screening and full color printing. Its a good eye-catcher already especially if you use a very vibrant color.
And if you need Pipe and Drape line for an open spaced tradeshow, they have a full line of it and can also be customized. Its could also be a perfect backdrop. They have it an easy assembly option that even comes in a bag. I think I would definitely keep them in mind should I already decide to join the bridal fair, not just now but in the future as well.

Auto Window Shopping
The husband requested if I could come with him as we look for some autos last sunday. As mentioned, he really wants to buy a new vehicle. I am still adamant about the idea but i know he has been wanting one. Now that we are finally settled in the dreamhouse, he wants to have another project. So getting a 4x4 vehicle is on top of his list. We had some compromise. Since we need to sell our existing vehicle so he could buy his dream car, he would also buy me a new car eventually! ;) Now I am convinced! (hehehe).
As for the "family car" as he claims it to be, we are down to two options...
Mitsubishi Montero Sports
or Toyota Fortuner
I would like the Fortuner but he prefers the new Montero Sports. Let's see what's the final verdict...
Any feedback with the two?

Wedding Planning of a Brave Bride...

Yes, unconventional. She wore a gray silverish wedding gown. In person, it looks black to me already. The theme of the wedding is black and white. I have seen a number of black and white themed wedding but it was my first to have a bride who wore a wedding gown which is not usually white, ecru, ivory or even champagne. In reality also, it was so beautiful. They look all stunningly elegant with their clothes. Even the moms and the principal sponsors are in black and most of the guests were also in black dresses. This event is already listed in one of our best weddings.
This is what I love so much about my career. It's a social event that is very unique to every bride and groom. And as they do wedding planning, you get to be close to them as well. You get to be part of their lives. And what else could be more lovely than be part of the memorable event of their lives. And I myself is always a witness to it. Although it could also be taxing, stressful (most of the time), I would just rely to my passion and love for what I like to do. I also get some inspirations from great wedding planners around the globe from their online advices and even sites like Perfect Wedding Guide is also a wonderful resource for me, as a wedding planner.

Becoming a shoe addict...
Am I becoming one? These are my latest purchases...

I have not mind what have appeared from the barcode scanner, *rolleyes* ! I love these shoes! It's my first time to own a Ferregamo and the color is just perfect. My favorite actually. The Michaels Kors is very appropriate as well when I do events. Very comfortable one. And I love the top design with buckle on the side. In fact, I have asked a friend to reserve for me as well a blue Marc Jacobs. It would arrive next month! Now, yes...I am becoming a shoe addict as well! I love dressing up and accentuating with shoes!

I must admit...
that I am getting kinda fetish again about stuff in the house. We would have another set of parties in the coming weeks so I thinking of buying new items to improve the look. Although, I am very satisfied already and so as the husband. But when I saw this Murray Feiss Lighting from online, makes me think to get this one for the master's bathroom. This could be nicely placed by the mirror. Its finished in brushed steel which is very modern and the shape of the glass is perfectly in opal etched. I hope this could be delivered in time for our party.

For safety...
We might get a refrigerator water filters. Apparently, I learned that water contaminants can have some worse effects to our health. It would be better to be safe than sorry is what I always believe in. We are always careful on these matters since one of my daughters have atopic dermatitis. In fact, since we have moved to the new house, her condition have gone better so we just wanted to keep it as is or atleast improve it still. We already have an air purifier in the house. Now getting one to eliminate water contaminants is what we are considering. Gotta order it from a store online that delivers it fast and one that carries a line that can be compatible to our current refrigerator.

Not to become a US president...
I got this through an email from a friend...
"I don't know if you've heard or watched David Letterman's Show when he used Filipino-American for his top ten reasons, but this certainly shows we are an emerging group in this diverse society to be featured in Dave's famous TV show..
TOP TEN Reasons Why There Couldn't Be a Filipino-American US President,
10. The White House is not big enough for in-laws and extended relatives.
9. There are not enough parking spaces at the White House for – 2 Honda Civics, 2 Toyota Land Cruisers, 3 Toyota Corollas, a Mercedes Benz, a BMW , and an MPV (My Pinoy Van)..
8. Dignitaries generally are intimidated by eating with their fingers at State dinners.
7. There are too many dining rooms in the White House - where will they put
the picture of the Last Supper?
6. The White House walls are not big enough to hold a pair of giant wooden spoon and fork
5. Secret Service staff won't respond to 'psst... psst' or hoy.hoy hoy
4. Secret Service staff will not be comfortable driving the presidential
car with a Holy Rosary hanging on the rear view mirror, or the statue of the
Santo Nino on the dashboard.
3. No budget allocation to purchase a Karaoke music-machine for every room
in the White House.
2. State dinners do not allow 'Take Home'.
1. AND THE NUMBER 1 REASON WHY THERE COULDN'T BE A FILIPINO-AMERICAN U.S. PRESIDENT IS...
Air Force One does not allow overweight Balikbayan boxes!

Executive Check-Up
of the husband is due next week. After my consistent requests, he finally gave in to free up some of his schedules. And gladly he is not taking it on a weekend. Instead, he was able to pull off to cancel meetings on two weekdays to accommodate this check-up. I hope there would be nothing to worry about. So I am praying that doctors would say that he is very well fit and healthy. Despite the fact that I know how much overweight he is. Sometimes, I am tempted to ask him to take some diet pills already. But I still need to review from a site some guides on choosing the best one that offers faster and effective results. Gotta ask his doctors also about it.

Need to go to the mall...
today as the husband is asking me to buy a MH250/U. What's that? I actually do not know as well. But he wrote it in a piece of paper and asked me to just show it in the store. It is actually a particular bulb part number as he said. He said it is a metal halide bulbs. I am not sure why he is asking me to buy it but he said he would use it for something. As he refers to it, this kind of bulb offers long life, high lumen output. It also has quick starting capability and definitely energy effiecient. Hmm, I still wonders as to where he is going to use it but he said it is also being used mostly for commercial purposes. I just hope I would be able to find something in the store so the husband would be happy that I did what he asked me to do. (wink, wink)

The kids want it...
We went to the mall yesterday looking for a new eyeglasses for me when the kids saw some nice kids beds in one of the furniture shops. Now the husband is thinking if we should get them a bunk bed already and let them stay already in their room. I am hesitant for this as I still want co-sleeping with the kids. But if ever, I would like to get one of those Bunk Beds I saw from Spacify. I would love the Cape Cod 3-In-1 Twin Bunk Bed or the Voyager Contemporary Bunk Bed if the husband would approve an increase in budget. But maybe we would move them when they are alreay about 8 to 10 years old. I still want their cuddles at night. If I could just hold on to time. They are getting bigger each day!

Its a toss...
between this
or this
This is our next project. I hope we could afford one before 2009 ends. I am voting for the 2nd one. The husband is still studying clearly which one would be a best option. We are torn if we would get one in diesel fuel pump. Since it would be a cheaper alternative to gas, it might be wise to get one. Do you think so? But we are still not decided. Well, there are suppliers like Diesel Parts Pros which provides online source for all diesel parts. Although of course this would still be covered by warranty. Toyota offers 3 year warranty based on the last dealer we have talked to. It is actually an advantage. Let's see what we finally decide. The husband would have the last say anyway.

For the husband...

I am getting him one Magnetic Golf Bracelets. Yes, he is back in playing golf. In fact he had a refresher course lately with a pro as he is preparing for an upcoming tournament for their clients. These kind of magnetic bracelets are therapeutic. I have been seeing beautiful pieces with stylish designs from Billy the Tree. Infact, most are on sale. And what's more, they do accept paypal payments so that is another advantage. Seriously, I have been hearing positive feedbacks from these bracelets since they do offer physical benefits. They are also known to be durable and of made out of good metals. They said that when you do wear something like this, it provides a magnetic theraphy that actually revitalize the major points of energy of the body. So wearing a magnetic golf bracelet is believed to be providing a good swing of the arm. That is very important to any golfer. And since the husband is quite serious again for his games, I am in full support on him regarding his new sport. So my best offer is to get him one like the one above.

Hooked!
I am beginning to love watch TV again. And in between work, I do watch about Fashion TV Online. I just can't get enough of the new styles, new releases of fashion out there and I am drooling over them. Well, I am getting a dose of TV shows listed on Spreety which offers all legal sites to watch TV online. And what's more, you can even get an E-book for free! Check out their site too so you can be as hooked as I am!

In the future?
This is our open lawn. No plans yet on what to do there but to just keep it as open as like this. We hold parties here everytime and the kids just love playing around here, like running and on their bikes. The husband bought as well his basketball court so he can play on that cemented area. Apparently, sometimes we also do put the big family inflatable pool so the kids can have fun. One time, I even joined them there. So an idea came to mind if eve we decide to have a swimming pool in the future. I am drooling over the Orange County pools I saw over the internet. These are custom pools which have nice and beautiful designs. I just caught myself browsing to a number of swimming pool designs, which are all manificently done amidst a manicured garden area. I want those that are also perfect for entertaining and those with miniature falls and lounges as well. I just caught myself staring at them. Who wouldn't want that? I should show this to the husband later. Who knows, we might have one in the future?!

Things accomplished!
I am so happy that I accomplished a lot of things to day. I was able to finish answering all my pending emails. I was also able to finish all documents needed for our event this weekend. I also made some calls to suppliers and confirmed already most of the details. I had my haircut as well. Yes, I finally did. It wasn't something fancy though (again), as the stylist still want to grow the remaining rebonded ends in my hair so I would go back again after 8 weeks. After the cut, I was able to go to the mall as I am looking for and buy new car floor mats for my Honda CRV. My car mats need replacements already but I am unhappy that I wasnt able to get one. The car stores doesn't have the nice customized patterns I saw from GGBailey. Now, I am thinking to order online instead. But before I do that I also need to book our hotel for HongKong. I will have to finalize on that one first.

Update on my mom...
My mom finally went home to their place over the weekend. Thank God for healing her. Up to this point, there is no known cause why she is having eye twitch and at the same time experiencing nystagmus. That could be related to a neurological problem but her MRI and CT results doesn't show anything. We have seen her neurologist last week and was even referred to an optha-neurologist to see what could be the cause of her eyelid muscle to contract involuntarily. There are medications given to her. I also made some research about it and it could be related to some vitamins deficiency. And this kind of case can even involved surgery if isn't treated early on and has been affecting your vision so as your daily routine life. I hope my mom's case isn't much of a big concern. She has improved last week and have just reminded her to take life easy as possible. She is used to doing a lot of chores in the house so we instructed the househelp to assist her on her every need. But we are still continuing to pray for her full recovery and that nothing will progress bad on her condition.
