We helped out a friend to find some apartments for rent within the area. They recently went back to the city after migrating to another country. I'm glad they are finally back here. We look forward to more times together. For the meantime, I am busy in the kitchen preparing for some good snacks. The kids are requesting for pasta carbonara so I am obliged. On the other hand, I made the husband promise me to bring us later in the mall so we can have a scoop of frozen yogurt. I am really craving for the cake butter flavor of frozen yogurt which sells in the nearby mall. Will be back for diet tomorrow instead, lol!

It's coming!
I'm overly excited for the arrival of my new baby. The UPS delivery receipt was scanned by my seller and was emailed to me. I can clearly see that it is already enroute to my destination. Good thing she used an epson receipt printer. I told her to even include the receipt inside the package. I can't wait. I have waited for so long for this baby to finally come. I hope it is what I have expected it to be. My choice was changed so I opted for a different color and style. But my baghag friend it is entirely a good choice. I really hope so. I'm excited to carry it already.

Hoping for a baby boy...
We are planning to actually have a 3rd baby already. I have yet to check though in a "referred" chinese calendar as to when we should try to conceive. Nothing much to lose so we are trying that route. We are hoping of course to have a baby boy this time. I wish there is a wonder drug that I can take to make sure we would have a baby boy, lol! That medicine or drug would definitely a hit, encompassing all other prenatal vitamins in the market! For the meantime, I would just have to understand first how to use the calendar correctly. And just hope for the best that the Man up there would reward us our heart's desire. Although, another girl would still have a warm welcome in the family!

Sneaked in...
These were the food that were sneaked in our room when we had a grand EB last week with online friends. Apparently, we told the delivery guys to follow the exit signs of the hotel since bringing in food is not allowed. But we couldn't care less, we wanted to party!!! I made specific instructions to the one assigned not to let any hotel staff see them otherwise we would be charged corkage fee or they might even revoke my membership in the hotel. lol! Gladly, we were able to have these food ready in the room as early as 11am, thus the party begins and ended up until almost 10pm.

Are your bathrooms clean?
How often do you actually clean your bathroom? In our case, we do scrubbing and major cleaning every other day. I hate it when all those hair supplements, soaps, body scrubs, shampoo, lotions are just scattered around the sink. I'm a bathroom fetish person as you know. It's actually one of my favorite nooks in the house as I have written before. Aside from that, I am particular about toilet bowl cleaning. You see, that's the most used seat in the house, lol ;) So I hate it when the househelp failed to clean it.
Here's a home brewed toilet cleaner which I gathered from the internet.
1/4 cup liquid detergent
1/4 cup warm water
Mix together the baking soda, liquid detergent, and water in a bowl. Use a toilet brush to apply the cleaner inside the bowl. You can let the solution soak inside the bowl for as long as you like, or you can immediately swish it around with the toilet brush before flushing. If the bowl is especially soiled or has a ring, let the cleaner soak overnight. In the morning, use a toilet brush to help remove the dirt or ring.
For automatic bowl cleaner just drop one denture cleanser tablet in the bowl, and let it bubble away the stains. If you have a buildup, you will need to swish a toilet brush around to loosen the grime--but if you do this regularly, you won't even have to scrub. It is much cheaper than buying those blue toilet bowl cleaners that go into the tank.

Panic mom!
I am one panic mom last week when I saw this from my daughter's arm...
Que Horror! She slipped in the floor of their school. I immediatelly brought her to her pediatrician to clean the wound and request for an antibiotic. Glad it is finally healing now. I am always a worried mom for anything that would concern my kids. I hope nothing like this would happen again. I'm so freaking nervous about all kinds of accidents. I hope 2010 is good year for us for good health. Speaking of health, I am reminded to approve already the life insurance quote submitted by our agent. We are already amicable to the terms set and the increase in premium rates since we wanted an upgrade of our policy.

Here comes the spring...
Spring is just around the corner and it's also the season for fleas for your pets in the house. This is the time to take extra care like refraining from going outdoors. My veterinarian friend said bathing your cat and dog would keep the fleas to infect your pet. He suggest to get a reliable flea shampoos that would not only kill fleas but also prevent fleas from jumping onto your pet. It's a protection actually. My friend said it is advisable to submerged your dogs or cats from neck down for not less than two minutes. This would make sure that the fleas would drown. It is also quite important to keep any shoes and clothing away from your pets since fleas would always come into a household by sticking to these items before it finally lands on your pet as its new host. Also, considering other products like flea collars also widely available in the market today. Better to bring your pets ahead to its veterinarian so that proper care can be given before the peak of the season sets in. The vet might even recommend that you should get already Frontline Plus as an early dose of protection for your pet. Sometimes, they can also be given some pills to really protect them from biting fleas.

Mojos are back...
My blogging mojos are back and I hope it won't go away that fast. In fact, i really need to blog a lot of things. I have been missing on some stories to tell. My blog is my personal journal of what's been transpiring around me as well as great finds for interesting to post. It's such a good way to document memories. It would really be nice to read back the previous stories as well. But I really need to stretch more my energy so I could finish all the tasks on hand. That would make way for more time to blog. Gotta catch more of that mojos so i won't lose the momentum! lol!

My special nook...
Where is your special nook in the house? I bet all of us would have one. A place where you can create a romantic mood or just enjoy being with yourself. Aside from my home office, my special nook in the house is our bathroom. I particularly love to stay in our bedroom's walk-in closet that leads to our bathroom. In fact on a regular basis, I just enjoy pampering myself here. We have put our ipod dock inside as well so there could be nice music while taking a bath! lol! Sounds interesting huh? Yeah. I love taking long showers. In fact, it would start off by scrubbing myself up with my favorite body scrub while my favorite rhytmn and blues music are playing. I would even light up some lavender-scent candles to complete the feel. It's like you are in a spa! lol! Good thing we have acquired nice shower enclosures which actually protects me from outside noise. After the bath, i still lounge around as i put on all my beauty secrets! I also take time to choose what I would wear for the day and would still match it up with my bag and shoes. I don't want to be rushing. I just enjoy taking my time in my special nook.

New Investments...
Dollar has been weakening the past few weeks and the husband and I have been thinking to secure our investments. In fact, we are on the lookout for new ventures. It is sometimes kinda tricky to monitor the financial market as you would tend to get frustrated along the way. Now, a friend told us to try looking in the option to buy gold bullion. I have never thought that actually but it could make sense since Gold has been on it's highest price in the last couple of weeks. Its the yellow metal which has been becoming an alternative investment since it is also the safest asset. Other kind of investments could actually fluctate in the market, but gold proves to provide a steady increase. A friend is recommending to consider this option already while it could be somehow affordable since based on forecasts, its value could even go higher with all the trending deficits all over the world. Gold would remain to be stable and solid in the future. We are discussing further as it might really be a wise decision to get this as new investments.

Kung Hei Fat Choi!
Aside from celebrating Valentine's Day, it is also a celebration of Chinese New Year. We had few fireworks last night as you know the husband is 1/4 chinese. Slept almost midnight already as I also finished a lot of tasks before finally finding time to lay down in bed. After which, I turned on my iPod and watch again the movies Twilight and New Moon. So I woke very late this morning and just laze around. Went to mass and headed to the mall afterwards. Now, I am dead tired. I don't think I still need a sleeping aid to rest my body tonight. Good night world!

He is concerned...
The husband is concerned about his falling hair so he asked me to check on hair loss treatment reviews. It actually runs on their genes to have hair loss at the start of certain age. Although there are a number of treatment available online that claims superior benefit and effect, still don't know which one is the best. I wonder if there's a site that can help me identify the factors I should consider in getting one for him. Oh well, I really need to get one for him as he is really pressuring me to buy him one already.

My kind of chocolate...
Before I take a research on some online degree, as my cousin is requesting for my help on it, let me take this quiz since it's valentine's day. Are you fond of chocolates and candies during Valentine's day? Check which one appeals to you most when someone gives you chocolates.
Mine is here...
You Are Serious and Intense |
![]() You don't take anything lightly, including your choice in candy. You don't like to make any mistakes in life. You are responsible and dedicated. You don't let anything slip through the cracks. You still like to have fun and indulge on occasion, but you are more of the type to only eat one piece of chocolate. You build now so that you can enjoy yourself later. You're all about planning for the future. |
Now, I am craving for Nama Chocolates from Royce!!!! Yummy!!!

Happy Valentine's Day!!!
It is the Heart Day! Wishing everyone to have a wonderful celebration with your family and love ones. So how are you spending Valentine's Day? As for us, we would still try to hit the mall as the husband reserved in a nice restaurant in the city. It's also time for me to get those acne pills as I woke up with three zits on my forehead! Does it mean "I Love You?" What a coincidence it could be right? But instead of just celebrating it with the husband, we are bringing along the kids. It's a family day! It's a great time to celebrate. Have a great one as well!

Suri...
Suri Cruise is just so adorable. She looks super angelic under the drizzles of snow. She's growing up to be a beautiful kid really. I wonder what kind of prenatal vitamins did Katie took when she was carrying Suri. Well, it probably just come in genes. I so love her outfit her wearing her red trench with matching scarf. Look at her now, she's really a mix of Katie and Tom. She's already a celebrity on her own. Oh, my kids like looking at her pictures all the time and been saying that they want her to be their friend. lol!

New iPhone...
There is a new iphone but not for me. Husband got his new gadget and he has been enjoying the use of it so far. OK, I must admit, I envy him! Makes me think to get one for myself too. With all the applications you can load to the phone, it is a worthwhile investment I must say. Now the husband is actually asking me to check for him nice iphone accessories. I have tried looking in the mall and found a number of great items. But a friend told me to check online as well. She got her new iphone case from MobileFun. And she swears about the price of the item she got. It's superbly at an incredible price. I checked the site and was even amazed that they accept paypal payment and all other major credit cards. I guess they offer their accessories at great deals since they have been a leading online retailer for all mobile phones and even downloads. They have varied products available. Now, I am also thinking to give the husband aniphone dock. Of course accessorizing an iphone makes it even better. I want to get him the 3gs desktop sync and charge cradle. My friend recommends me to get this as well as it is really a value for money. It works like a charger for the iphone and at the same time connects it to the computer via a usb cable. It is a small and lightweight product which the husband can bring anywhere with him. I'm sure he would love to get one as well. I was glad to have found the site. Thanks for my friend for recommending. It is the best site for any mobile needs whether the unit itself, parts, accessories and even dowloads and softwares. I shall recommend to most friends as well.
