Roadtrip...

Yey, excited for a holiday road trip with the family. All set for it. Clothes-check, food-check, junkies-check, car-check. Thanks to roadside assistance club, we do not have to worry at all with any bug down concern of the car. I am excited. We would be going to this exclusive membership club down the south area. I am sure the kids would be happy with the swimming escapades. We would proceed to a rest house and would staying there for the two nights. Quite exciting as we would be with my uncle's family. We would be home in time for new year's eve.

Another new phone?

My husband is itching to get a new phone. He is actually thinking to get blackberry playbook. Well, he is more of a texter so he is considering it actually. Blackberry phones have always been a choice for those typists because of its full Qwerty keyboards. He is asking me to check which among the blackberry options is the best thing? Any recommendation? The choices are Blackberry Bold, Blackberry Curve, and the new Blackberry Torch. As for me, I would still like to get a new iPhone 4. Oh, how I wish. I hope it is not too late to request from Santa, lol!

Spring Cleaning

Time to clean the closet. I need space for new items which were given as gifts to us and the kids. Argh, there are so many toys to sort. And i hate those small ones. I am putting in boxes the items so my kids could check should they still want to play with it or not. But not a good idea actually as it turned out they wanted to keep most. I should just have decided on it on my own. Also, I am surprised to see sport trophies of the husband from his basketball tournaments. These trophies occupies space as well in the cabinets. Of course, I could not just throw away these things or else my husband would kill me. Lol! How I wish there's a nearby warehouse in our area which we could just lease for items we still want to keep but not necessarily need. Any leads for such?

Signed and Sealed!

Finally, after reviewing tons of term life insurance quotes, the husband and I finally decided on what policy to take. We are very happy with our choice. Our agent have carefully discussed with us all the details of the insurance plan. We reviewed the pros and cons of each policy quotes and compared it side by side with one another. Of course we considered the annual premium, the cash back guarantee, the benefits associated and all others you need to factor in when deciding to get your insurance. It is finally signed and a sealed deal!

It's in the news...

So sad to hear in the news that there's about close to 3,000 Americans each year, who are diagnosed with a deadly disease of Mesothelioma. This disease is actually caused by exposure to Asbestos. I hope the government can really do something in regulating industrial and construction companies on limiting the use of this harmful ingredient. Inflicted people are highly advised to seek not only medical advise but also legal advise to secure proper financial compensation from companies who still refrain from following government safety orders. This is not a very good news to families who have been victims of such especially this holiday season. I hope the numbers could really down by next year.

Sky Capture...

This is what I capture while we were driving down the suburbs....

Magnificent isn't it?

I went out today with my brother to check out a company in the suburbs who sells some industrial bearings. We need some industrial supplies for our business and we were sourcing out the best deals from a supplier. Though it was tiring, I enjoyed the view as we drove a steep road going to the south. After more than two hours of travel, we finally made it. It was worth it as we found the right warehouse we are looking for. We also got a very good deal from all our purchases. I'm sure we would go back to it.

My Personal Style

Your Style is Traditional

You have a strong preference for classic things. You want items that will look good forever.

You don't fall for trends. You know what you like, and little is going to change that.

You have an eye for quality. You'd like to hold on to your things for a long time.

You pick out each item you own carefully and deliberately. You aren't an impulse shopper.

Christmas Outfit...

With just few days before Christmas, I need to hit the mall to find my Christmas outfit. Yes, I am like a child who needs to have brand new outfit every holiday season. I want get those "boyfriend" top shirt and partner it with rocawear jeans this time so I can wear my rocking shoes, which I recently got from a Payless shoe store. The kids are all geared up as well. We were assigned for color "gray" this year for our annual Christmas party. Got them each a nice gray blouse and a gray and black dress combination. Looking forward for our Christmas family photo.

My Twitter Exchange Gift!

So I thought no one actually picked out my name in our online twitter exchange gift. And I also thought my santa mommy forgot about me. But not indeed as I actually got one of the items in my wish list. I am super happy actually that she chose to get my 3rd wish. I wonder if my santa mommy is actually suspecting me to have a Lymphedema as I have been requesting for some compression garments. The swelling on some parts of my body is brought about by mere excess fats and not at all about excess fluids, in which I might need some compression stockings already. Thankfully not. I truly like the gift I received this year. I am definitely looking forward for another one next year!

The Holiday Card Test

You Are Fun Loving

The holidays are a nonstop good time for you, and you don't have the patience for any stress or drama.

You're hoping that you can make everyone laugh during this stressful time of year... or at the very least smile.

You are confident and secure in who you are. You like to be the life of the party.

You stay away from the sappier sides of the holidays. You prefer to keep it uplifting.

The Royal Wedding...

of Prince William and Kate Middleton has been in the news for a couple of weeks now. A number of reviews were also released, including the previous life of a commoner Kate. Imagine, all things about Kate like her family, her school, her hobbies and interests were being discussed. There were some speculations about her recent interest to becoming an equestrian was brought about by the compelling acceptance by the queen. Talks about her wardrobe is not an exception, that even his equestrian breeches were being discussed. Well, that is truly how it is when you are marrying a Prince. All eyes are on you for sure. I guess, she would have to get use to it anyway.

On Dual Diagnosis...

My friend is associating my panic attacks to a dual diagnosis which he told me about, lol! Apparently, I am having some panic concerns because of the upcoming christmas rush. I feel like I need a clone. There are so many things to be done but then so little time. Apart from my load from work, I also have to think about the upcoming parties in the house. I wonder how could I finish everything with just 11 days to go? I also have to plan for our christmas vacation happening right after christmas. I hope i won't get sick thinking of all of these things. Oh, help me God!

Christmas Rush...

in malls all over! It is just so crazy to go to malls recently because of many people doing their christmas shopping. But no matter how many times I tell myself that I would do my christmas shopping early, I always end up doing it the last minute, just few days before christmas. At this time of the year, a number of modus operandi are breaking out as well and malls are not spared at all. In fact, I even learned some thieves actually employ electronic pickpocketing and scan your credit card numbers and other info without touching you! Scary huh. So please be extra careful on your belongings and you might even want to consider getting rfid wallet like I do.

Florida!!!

Wow! I'm too excited for this! The husband told me about the possibility of going to Florida next year. I am so happy. Aside from the scheduled trip to California on christmas, we are looking at visiting Disney world in Florida. That would be amazing and I am sure the kids would have a blast. I am checking our time-sharing membership and looking at possible exchange holiday during the kids' break. I need to check a tampa car rental too, as I am sure we would need one if we would stay for a week. Any recommendations?
