Thai Food is love!

I love Thai Food! I love spicy food actually. With just few days in Bangkok, I think I have gained few pounds already. Probably time to get sensa when I get back to Manila. Most of the restaurants we have tried are offering authentic thai food and everything is delicious including their desserts. I am surprised they also offer a good price for food. What I noticed too is they do have very beautiful interiors in their restaurants. I honestly feel, they have nicer restaurants than Manila. Even their coffee shops are very chic. I am very happy with my whole experience of enjoying Thai food.

Trade-Off

I have agreed with the husband to trade off his Macbook Pro to me and allow him to buy an Xbox. It has been his plan for the past couple of months to get one already. In fact, he allowed me really to go to Bangkok, Thailand with my friends cause he is asking me to to buy xbox games there. He learned that there are pretty good deals of games from here. I just need to find where exactly to get those. On another story, tomorrow, will be shopping day. We will go to the weekend market of Chatuchak. I am excited for it. I am sure I will find great items there. I love the home pieces from that market. Good thing, a friend knows a shipper from there who could actually pack and ship the items for us to Manila. I am glad I can buy some bulky items and not worry how to bring those home.

Another yaya story...

This month, two of our household helps will actually be leaving. One for a vacation and another one for good. I hope the one who will take a temporary leave will really go back after a month. I told her she should as I already bought a ticket for her as well for our vacation on August. Aside from that, I promised her that I will already get her an SSS when she gets back. I explained to her the social security benefits she will get when we apply for one. I hope she would really come back since the kids are very at ease with her already. Now, I need to get a temporary yaya for my kids. I hope to get a replacement before both of them leave by end of the month.

Two good news!

Today, I received two very good news from two friends. Both of them are actually pregnant! They are both almost at the same number of weeks. I am so happy for them. The first one, being their first have waited for a number of years before they finally got pregnant. The other one is already planning for a second baby. God is so good. In no time, I am sure to receive already their birth announcements. I am so happy to receive news of pregnancy. Silently, I am wishing I could also be, but not too soon yet ;) I am still hoping for a third child and hoping for a boy already. Maybe next year ;)

Add-ons!

After nearly two years in our dream house, I felt there are other stuff to add on. Husband and I have been contemplating to build a new storage space at the back. Yes, we have accumulated that so much junk already. The swimming pool is a far-off idea so we are shelving it. Besides, I would rather go to Europe first before we save up for that pool. That could totally wait ;) But basic things I would like to get will be a water tank in our backyard in preparation for summer heat. I think we also need a heavy duty Insinkerator. I regret not having one placed already in our kitchen sink before. Any idea where I could get those?

New kid on the block...

Wow! I received a good news this morning! One of my friends gave birth today to a bouncing baby boy! I'm so happy for my friend who practically waited for more than 5 years for their first born. I am sure it was worth the wait for them as I saw the baby already this afternoon and he's such an adorable one! Now, I'm envious! I suddenly wanted to have a baby boy already ;P If we will be blessed with one too in the future, I will also give out montecristo cigars to our male visitors in the hospital just like what my friend did. It has been a practice to give out cigars when you have a new baby boy.
