Birthday Wishlist...

What a timely coincidence that I came across the jewelry fashion trends for moms site. Now that my birthday is just around the corner, I am running in my head the possible wish list I would like to receive on my special day. The husband actually fulfilled one of those by giving me a new iPhone4. I am also wishing to receive a nice pair of earrings with a pendant. I hope the husband could read my blog ;) For the meantime, I am good with all my Apple products, from my Macbook Pro, my iPad2 and now my iPhone4. I am one happy camper already!

Off to the Derma!

Rushing to head out today to meet my dermatologist. But it's raining hard so I bet it will be traffic on my way. Now, I'm afraid my appointment will get bumped off. Boo! I have been delaying this blackhead removal for weeks already. I hope to get to the derma clinic on time. Today is a pretty busy day with so many errands to work around. I hope I can figure out how to finish everything despite the heavy traffic outside.

Before I forward the dating sites that my cousin has been asking me, let me share with you what I ate this morning during breakfast...



This was a gift from a friend who recently came from Australia. I love it! I practically finished about 2 portion packs in just one sitting. I partnered it with a Ciabatta bread. Now, good luck to my calorie intake on this early morning. I think I have consumed what is allowed only for the day. Forget diet first as we are headed for a great dinner tonight. My husband promised to treat me to a nice restaurant. I'm excited.

Overwhelmed!

Yes, I am overwhelmed with ebooks in my iBooks bookshelf! I got about almost 30 books available that I haven't even started reading. Thanks to my online friends for sending those epub files to me. I currently reading Mr. Maybe. I finished reading Love the One You're With which is a current favorite. I have a number of pages which I bookmarked from it. There are lovely lines from the book. I wonder if I can use a scanning software for it so that I can really keep those files. Also read Something Borrowed and Something Blue. I love both books too. It was 2 different perspective. Of course, I didn't miss the movie Something Borrowed with my girlfriends.

Easy Selling...

I actually sold few of my bags recently and I was so amazed how easy it is to sell among my twitter friends. In less than 2 hours, my two Long Champ bags were sold! I practically do not need to do hard selling and in fact doesn't even need to bring my bags and consign to some resellers like my friend. One of my good friends has a bag shop and was supposed to display my bags for sale. She even told me that her new store have some nice new furnishing and that she even bought a cordless barcode scanner. She was excited to display my bags since she will be relaunching the store. Oh well, fortunately for me, I was able to sell it without any wait. I shall just see which among my bags can I still consign with her. I need to dispose more so I can have more space in the cabinet and that I can also have provision to buy new ones! (wink!)

Transition to the new Macbook Pro

I am actually in the process of transition to the new Macbook Pro. I finally gave up my 3 years Macbook White. It wasn't hard though to change laptop but the tedious part is actually transferring files and making sure not to miss our on any. It's taking a while too for me to transfer the pictures since I have tons. How I wish, there are bi tools available which I can use so I can manage accessing the diverse date sources. I am getting obsessive-compulsive in organizing the files and albums.

Digital finally!

Yes, we are finally have a digital cable TV. Since my husband started working in a premier cable company in the country, I have been bugging him that he should instruct their technical department to install a digibox in our TV. Apparently, it took a while since they still our home lines need to pass through network cable tester. They finally did about two weeks ago and then installation started this week. I'm one happy camper with this one as the channels are clearer and there are more options for channels to watch.

Investment options

My husband and I actually talked to 3 different insurance agents last week and then we need to decide whether we are getting another investment fund or if we are increasing our guaranteed issue life insurance coverage. We have to carefully compare the benefits of different companies as well as the annual premium we are going to pay. It is actually not so easy to review. My husband is giving me the burden to prepare a comparative analysis for such. Now, I do not know exactly if what I prepared would do justice to our choice. I am actually in favor of the investment funds. My husband and I will discuss things tonight. Hoping to arrive at the right option for us.

Desperate!

The husband is desperate to lose weight already and at the same time frustrated that he cannot reach his desired weight lose even he has been burying himself already in the gym and controlling his food intake. He is even considering liposuction! lol! But of course I am so against it. I was telling him that there could really be a problem with his work out and diet and insist that he should see a doctor/dietician instead. A friend recommended to us an aesthetic doctor who prescribes weight loss pills that work for those who have problems losing a lot of weight. The husband is giving it one last shot with this doctor before he finally gives us and just consider other options. I am hoping that doctor could really help my husband much that he helped my friend to lose about 40 lbs in 8 months!
